Summary

This article presents several educators who, in diverse time and ways, have acknowledged the educative needs in the context where they were living, and knew how to give and adequate answer. The common elements which emerge in all of these educators are and understanding of the role of the educator, an attention to every person so as to recognize their needs and tailor the educational method to them, and a daily life which is exemplary.

Il contributo presenta alcune figure di educatori che, in tempi e modalità diversi, hanno colto le esigenze educative del contesto in cui sono vissuti e hanno saputo dare una risposta adeguata. In tutte le figure emerge la consapevolezza del ruolo dell’educatore, l’attenzione ad ogni singola persona per comprenderne l’indole ed adeguarvi il metodo educativo, l’esemplarità di vita.
