There are two anniversaries that give rise to this reflection: the 20th anniversary of Pope John Paul II’s visit to the Pontifical Faculty of Educational Sciences «Auxilium», and the first anniversary of his Beatification.

Infatti, si tratta di una testimonianza di vita che l’Autore offre, partendo dalla sua vicinanza al Pontefice, soprattutto nelle celebrazioni liturgiche. È una testimonianza fatta di ricordi, sovente inediti, di immagini, di gesti, di parole, di sensazioni, di sentimenti, di condivisione di gioie e di dolori. L’occasione di raccontare questo vissuto è data da due anniversari: i 20 anni della visita del Papa Giovanni Paolo II alla Pontificia Facoltà di Scienze dell’Educazione «Auxilium» e il primo anniversario della sua Beatificazione.
