Summary

The article presents a production project as a reference point in the not-for-profit world because it reconciles both ethics and aesthetics. It is a second chance model: a second opportunity for the women inmates who, besides learning a trade, construct a way to draw near the real world, using material and objects that have been recovered from Italian and European businesses. All this shows that even in disadvantaged places, beauty can create value.

La relazione presenta un progetto di produzione che è punto di riferimento nel mondo non-profit, poiché concilia etica ed estetica. Il modello è quello della seconde chance: una seconda opportunità per le donne detenute che, oltre ad imparare un mestiere, costruiscono un percorso di riavvicinamento al mondo reale, e per i tessuti e gli oggetti che vengono recuperati presso le aziende tessili italiane ed europee. Tutto ciò per dimostrare che anche in luoghi di disagio e degrado, la bellezza può creare valore.

El modelo es el del segundo chance: una segunda oportunidad para las mujeres detenidas que, además de aprender un oficio, desarrollan un proceso de acercamiento al mundo real, y por los tejidos y los objetos que se recuperan en las haciendas textiles italianas y europeas. Todo esto para demostrar que también en lugares incómodos o degradantes, la belleza puede crear valores.
